What’s this ( Pamanke )?

It is a green (vegetable) found in the mountains which we call in our language (Pamanke). Eating it once will make you addicted to it and you will ask for it again and again but it is not available again and again because it is rare and only available to the lucky ones. Local people say that it is very useful for diabetic patients.
Not everyone can find it, nor is it found in every mountain, but there are very specific places where it grows, especially where the sun shines the most. If you want it too.

You can also eat it raw as a salad. (In Punjabi chongay چونگاں  , in URDU Chohang چوہنگ) – Yes, Now you know It is An important medicinal plant to be protected.

Let me introduce you another name “Caralluma Fimbriata” It is the same in looking but different from “Caralluma tuberculata” in family it is belong to Apocynaceae family found in Sri lanka, india, Arabian region. And we are talking about Caralluma tuberculata (Pamankay پمنکے ) it is belongs to the Asclepiadaceae family, and its name in English is Caralluma tuberculata. It’s a very good vegetable for health.

How to cook: It’s very easy to do, first fry it in oil and then add chopped onion and suitable meat mince and cook this mince in such a way that it leaves the oil back, then cut the side. Add green chilies and it will taste good
