Ghanem Al-Muftah was born in Qatar on May 5, 2002. As a child, he suffered from a disease (Caudal Regression Syndrome) (CDS) in which the lower part of the spine cannot develop. Refused, and in the school where he finally managed to get admission, the children were afraid to play with him due to his disability.

However, rather than allowing the condition to stunt his life, he has learned to overcome obstacles with positivity and leadership, this is what makes him an exceptional and inspiring character. He is currently pursuing his university degree, majoring in political sciences with an overarching goal of becoming a diplomat. Despite his disability, Ghanim enjoys participating in extreme sports such as scuba diving, skateboarding, and rock climbing.

Ghanim al-Muftah is a well-known motivational speaker in Qatar and also owns a company called Ghrisah-Icecream, which has 6 branches in Qatar and around sixty workers.
With the support of his family, Ghanem also founded Al-Ghanem Foundation, a charity organization (ghanimalmuftah.org) that provides wheelchairs to disabled people around the world.

In 2017, Ghanim al-Muftah has achieved the privilege of performing Umrah with no hands in a wheelchair. He used to play football wearing gloves in his student days. Apart from football, he also dives and shows the essence of diving up to 200 meters in the sea. have done
